Ms Sarah Mills BSc (Hons), BMBCh, MD(Res), FRCS (Gen Surg), graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 1998, and undertook surgical training in Oxford, Melbourne and London. Prior to taking up a consultant post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, she undertook specialist colorectal fellowships at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia and St Mark’s Hospital, London (a specialist Colorectal Hospital with an international reputation). She was awarded her doctorate in 2005 for her work at St Mark’s Hospital, London, on the immunology of inflammatory bowel disease. She specialises in minimally invasive surgery for colorectal cancer, anal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr Simon Peake has a first class honours degree and distinction at St Mary’s Hospital, he trained at several hospitals throughout Northwest London. He was appointed as a research fellow at St Mark’s Hospital and Imperial College London. He specialises in endoscopy, management of acid-related disorders, reflux, abdominal pain, change in bowel habit and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Dr Hameed completed her pre-clinical training at Oxford University, graduating with First Class Honours. She went on to clinical training at University College London (UCL) during which time she undertook a Studentship in Endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. She qualified in 2002, with distinctions in Medicine, Surgery, Pharmacology and Pathology, winning prizes across subjects including in Medicine, Surgery and Pathology and as one of the highest ranked medical students in the whole of the University of London was named proxime accessit to the University of London Gold Medal.

She gave up her career in architecture and became Pilates and functional trainer in order to help other people who struggle with injuries.
